1. I think it's going to be important to blog and read others to learn new ideas as well as build our own ideas. Having students creating blogs about what they are learning and reading in class would be helpful to us as teachers as well as parents.
2. The commenting advice I read was all very appropriate. Newbies should not be afraid to comment. (being a newbie myself I will definitely keep that in mind)
I have realized this is all very time consuming though. Two Hours flew by just visiting various sites, clicking here and there. I learned a lot and enjoyed reading, but I am going to have time myself.
3. The 5 blogs that I selected for my comments were: SharpTool;SuperThorn3;What a cinch;Aggie Mom's Blog; and Live2Learn&Learn2Live
I know what you mean by "time-consuming" - I'm trying to monitor all the Thornwood Blogs this summer and it's getting crazy!! There's so much to learn from each other though, so I'm forging ahead. Looks like you are too - I've got to catch up on all your latest posts!

You are right...it's easy to lose a couple of hours in a flash while you are blogging or looking at someone else's posts. I do enjoy "hearing" all the different ideas that are shared and like responding to comments.
ReplyDeleteEstella, enjoyed your blog.. i agree with the statement about time... i am very concerned about the time issue.. why am i spending my much needed vacation on this when i need to be with my family.
